Future Irish Catholic Church
A leaked report from the overseas Catholic "Apostolic Visitation" group that has visited & travelled throughout Ireland has apparently come to the conclusion that the Irish Catholic church has probably only 5 years or at most 10 years left in it's current state. After that it retreats into a small minority leaving Ireland a fully secular nation. All Pentecostal leaders & missionaries should take note of this important "in house" conclusion. The context in which we seek to spread the Gospel in Ireland is changing fast. Like the men of Issachar we must "understand the times & know what Israel (Ireland) should do" I Chronicles 12:22.

As a christian living in the US holding both Irish and American citizenship, I find this extremely interesting. Jesus Christ has saved me and set me free with hope and a burden to share this with others. Yet I have been drawn to the home of my ancestors not knowing why. Perhaps this is why. My time in Ireland has shown me that cruelty of religion as opposed to the love of Christ has left its mark on the people of Ireland. It is only He who still opens the eyes of the blind and sets the captives free that can heal the deep wounds of centuries. Go raibh maith agat for this information. May the Lord prosper the work of the gospel He has entrusted to you

There are a lot of very good people working in the Catholic Church . It is a very difficult struggle for these people at this particular time. They have decided to dedicate their whole lives to either preaching and studying the word of Christ, or carrying out the mission of Jesus on earth- which is one of healing, renewing, teaching.Ireland's christians need to reunite.
